A Partial Hornpit of a Bison sp. (210 mm)
Partial Bison sp (ancient bison) horn pin bone. The bone remain in Hungary, Pest County, has come to the surface during gravel mining. It could be hundreds of thousands of years old bison horn pin bone, because of the same layers Mammuthus meridionalis remains came to the surface. Inside the bone, fossilized iron sulphide gravel and sand are visible. The horn pin length is about 210 mm, its maximum thickness is about 63 mm. Weight: about 700 grams + packaging. The bone surface is preserved with PVB (Mowital).
