Acer cf. integerrimum partial leaf pair from Hungary SOLD (DDF) 08
Middle Miocene (Sarmatian) age (approx. 10-13 million years old) Acer cf. integerrimum (maple) partial leaf impression in pair. . The leaf fossil was unearthed during diatom mining in the Zemplén Mountains near the settlement of Erdőbénye in Hungary. The dimensions of the silicified diatom stones containing the impression are approx: (A): 210 mm x 87 mm x 39 mm. Weight: approx. 690 grams + packaging. (B): 93mm x 52mm x 9mm. Weight: approx. 29 grams + packaging. The diatomaceous stone contains drying cracks.
