Alces cf. latifrons partial antler (239 mm)
Alces cf. latifrons (ancient elk) partially shed antler. The deer fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the antler are approx.: length 239 mm. The largest diameter of the antler rose is 94 mm. The weight of the antler is approx. 1382 grams + packaging. The visible drying cracks on the antlers were filled with cyanoacrylate. The surface of the antler is preserved with PVB (Mowital).
