Alces cf. latifrons (ancient elk) partially shed antler. The deer fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the antler are approx.: length 302 mm. The largest diameter of the antler rose is 59 mm. The weight of the antler is approx. 773 grams + packaging. The surface of the antler is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30. Some longitudinal drying cracks are visible on the antler.
