Bison priscus partial jaw (374 mm)
Bison priscus (steppe bison) partial right lateral jaw. 2 whole teeth are visible in the jaw bone. The bison fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the jaw are approximately: length 374 mm, height measured at the last tooth 106 mm, width 40 mm. Weight approx.: 792 grams + packaging. The surface of the jaw is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30.
