Bison sp. partial horn bone (240 mm)
Bison sp. (wood bison) partial horn pin bone. The bison fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Győr-Moson-Sopron County, Hungary. The size of the bone is approx.: length 240 mm, greatest width 82 mm. Weight: approx. 994 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30. On the bone, calcifications of sand and gravel can be seen in several places.
