Bison sp. (ancient forest bison) partial jaw. The bison fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. Remains of Mammuthus meridionalis in its vicinity were therefore also likely to be older than 600,000 years. Jaw dimensions approx .: length 229 mm, height 117 mm, width 34 mm. Weight approx: 704 grams + packaging. There are some cracks on the jaw. The surface of the jaw is preserved with PVB (Mowital).
