Bison sp. partial skull bone (956 grams) SOLD (R) 09
Bison sp. (forest bison) partial skull bone. The bison fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. There were also remnants of Mammuthus meridionalis in its environment, so its age is probably between 2.4 and 0.6 million years. The dimensions of the skull fragment are approximately 238 mm x 125 mm x 66 mm. Weight approx: 956 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with PVB (Mowital).
