Cervus elaphus partial skull (86 cm) Red Deer
Cervus elaphus (red deer) partial skull of Pleistocene (120,000 to 10,000 years). The remains of deer came to surface in Hungary, Pest county, during gravel mining. It was broken into four pieces. The pieces are glued together. The skull is preserved with cyanoacrylate. The maximum distance between the two ends of the cervus skull is 86 cm. Weight approx: 2550 grams + packaging. We do not undertake to mail the skull because of its large size and vulnerability. For personal acceptance in Hungary or at some of the larger international mineral bridges.
