Coelodonta antiquitatis Woolly Rhino humerus bone
Coelodonta antiquitatis (woolly rhinoceros) complete humerus (upper arm) bone. The rhinoceros fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The size of the humerus bone is approximately: length 456 mm, width 225 mm, thickness 187 mm. Weight: approx. 5035 grams + packaging. Drying cracks are visible in some places on the humerus bone. The surface of the bone is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
