Cretaceous Pycnodont Phacodus punctatus Fish Jaw SOLD (LC) 05
Cretaceous approx: 99-65 million years old Pycnodont (Phacodus punctatus) fish jaw. The jaw remain was found in Morocco Khourigba region. The jaw was broken during the resque from a phosphate rock, in three pieces, but it was glued together. Some teeth moved from their place, they have also been glued back. In the jaw are 15 tooth visible. The jaw size is approximately 45 mm x 47 mm x 22 mm. It weighs about 18 grams + packing.
