Discosauriscus pulcherrimus from Czech Republic (1380 grams) SOLD (MF) 03
Lower Permian (approximately 275 million years old) Discosauriscus pulcherrimus fossil. The reptile fossil was found in Boskovice in the Czech Republic in 2009. The size of the stone containing the Discosauriscus imprint is approximately 248 mm x 168 mm x 21 mm. Weight approx: 1380 grams + packaging. Discosauriscus pulcherrimus has a print length of approximately 146 mm. The Discosauriscus fossil was broken at the head but was glued together. Another interesting feature of the fossil is that, due to rock tectonics, the body has shifted 1-2 mm from the rest of the body in two places.
