Hyalite, (glass opal) opal variant on dacite-andesite bedrock. The mineral surfaced in September 2020 during quarrying near the town of Tarcal. The size of the stone containing opal is approximately 122 mm x 92 mm x 42 mm. Weight approx: 350 grams + packaging. The special feature of the mineral is that it glows green in short-wave uw light.
