Jurassic ammonite polish from Tardos (576 mm)
Limestone grinding containing ammonites of Jurassic age (approx. 180-150 million years). The place of origin of ammonites is Hungary, Gerecse mountains, Tardos, limestone mine. All sides of the ammonite slab are polished. The dimensions of the stone are approx.: length 576 mm, width 404 mm, thickness 34 mm. Weight: approx. 20 Kg + packaging. The largest ammonite has a maximum diameter of 390 mm. The remains of several fossils can also be seen inside the largest ammonite.
