Partial upper tooth of the giant tapestry Lophiodon lautricense, of Eocene age (about 52-41 million years old). The tapir tooth weight is about 83 grams + packing.
The size of the fossil is approximately 49 mm x 41 mm x 48 mm.
The Lophiodon remains in coal mining near Robiac in France more than 20 years ago.
The remainder is a natural, natural state. Not preserved.
