Mammut borsoni tooth (70 mm) SOLD (RVR) 11
The Pliocene age of Mammut Borsoni is the tooth of M1. The tooth fossil comes from Hungary for many decades in a private collection. Its exact location is currently unknown. Similar findings were previously known from sand and gravel mines in Rákoshegy, Pestlőrinc or the Gödöllö Hills. Today, these mines are no longer working, so no new fossils are expected.
Approximate tooth size: length 70 mm, height 42 mm, width 56 mm. Weight 147 grams + packaging. The tooth was broken diagonally along its length, but it was nailed together.
