Mammuthus sp. (old primigenius?) upper tooth (1630 grams)
Mammuthus sp. (old primigenius?) upper tooth. The plate density of the tooth indicates Mammuthus primigenius. But based on the thickness of the dental plate, it can even be Mammuthus meridionalis. Abnormal deformation is also seen on some plates on the tooth. The mammoth fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the tooth are approx .: length 169 mm, height 127 mm, width 92 mm. Weight approx: 1630 grams + packaging. The tooth surface is preserved with cyanoacrylate (Paleobond).
