Pleistocene Megaloceros giganteus (Irish Elk) metatarsal bone. The deer fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the bone are approx.: Length: 349 mm, width 69 mm, thickness 63 mm. Weight: approx. 763 grams + packaging. A large drying crack is visible on the side of the bone. The surface of the bone is preserved with PVB (Mowital).
