Dicerorhinus steinheimensis partial skull (267 mm)
Miocene Ear Rhinoceros (Dicerorhinus steinheimensis) Remains of partial skull. The maxillary will show 4 whole teeth and a partial tooth. Rhinoceros fossil came to Bosnia in coal mining (lignite). Due to lignite tectonics, the bone is heavily deformed and age-sliced. Because of its turmoil, it has been conserved in a carousel where a scroll of a snail can be seen. The size of the fossil is about 267 mm x 171 mm x 63 mm. Weight approx: 1029 grams + packaging.
