Mosasaurus partial jaw from Morocco (93 mm) SOLD (CSZS) 11
Cretaceous (approximately: 99-66 million years old) Mosasaurus sp. partial jaw. There are 3 teeth in the jaw bone. The Mosasaurus fossil came to the surface during phosphate mining in Khouribga, Morocco. The dimensions of the jaw are approx .: length 93 mm, height 56 mm, width 21 mm. Weight approx: 84 grams + packaging. The 2 teeth protruding from the jaw were broken but glued back nicely. The third tooth in the jaw is intact. The jaws of the Mosasaurs are clearly visible on this jaw when one of the teeth starts to come up under the new tooth.
