Mosasaurus teeth in rock SOLD (JL) 03
Cretaceous age (approx. 90 - 65.5 million years old) Mosasaurus tooth in rock. The remains of the tooth come from a phosphate mine near Khouribga in Morocco. The size of the stone containing the tooth is approximately: 59 mm x 44 mm x 43 mm. Weight approx.: 106 grams + packaging. The length of the tooth visible in the stone is approx. 34 mm. In addition to the Mosasaurus tooth, fragments of several fish vertebrae can be seen in the stone.
