fossilized faeces of Pachycrocuta (giant hyena) or Crocuta spelaea (cave hyena) (coprolite). The hyena fossil was found in Hungary in Győr-Moson-Sopron County during gravel mining. Mammuthus meridionalis remains, which coexisted with Pachyocrocuta, are common in the gravel mine. Previously, Pachyocrocuta's jaw had also surfaced from this site. Occasionally younger fossils also occur in the gravel mine, so it is not 100% certain that Pachyocrocuta is a coprolite. Coprolite measures approximately 84 mm x 50 mm x 44 mm. This coprolite is big. The largest Crocuta spelaea coprolites in the literature are of similar size, with Mig Pachyocrocuta an average size. Coprolite weighs approximately 151 grams + packaging. The surface of the coprolite is preserved with PVB (Mowital)
