Pagophilus groenlandicus seal partial sacrum vertebra
Pleistocene-aged Pagophilus groenlandicus seal partial sacrum vertebral bone. The seal fossil was found during trawl fishing in the North Sea off the coast of the Netherlands. The whitish spots on the bone are remnants of the Bryozoa colonies living in the sea. The dimensions of the sacrum bone are approximately: 95 mm x 70 mm x 37 mm. Weight approx: 63 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with Collal glue.
