Jurassic age (approx. 200-170 million years old) stone slab containing 1 partial Harpoceras ammonites and two partial fragmentary Dactyloceras ammonites. The place of origin of the ammonite fossils is a quarry on the edge of the town of Ohmden near Holzmaden, Germany. Collection date: June 2023. The dimensions of the stone containing the ammonites are approx. 195 mm x 176 mm x 23 mm. Weight approx.: 624 grams + packaging. The ammonites and the whole stone are preserved with a substance called Durol STH 101, which prevents the decomposition of the pyrite and phosphate minerals.
