Pleisosaur ( Zarafasaura oceanis ) tooth from Morocco SOLD (02)
Plesiosaurus (Zarafasaura oceanis) tooth from Cretaceous age (approx. 70.6 - 66 million years). The Plesiosaurus tooth comes from the Oulad Abdoun Basin near Khourigba in Morocco. The dimensions of the tooth are approx.: length 60 mm, width 15 mm, thickness 14 mm. Weight: approx. 14 grams + packaging. When the tooth was found, it was broken in two but was glued together. In the lower part, some rock can be seen, in which a fragment of a vertebra can be discovered.
