Partial jaw of Pliopetaurista pliocaenica (flying squirrel) of Pliocene age (approximately 3.5 million years old). In the jaw bone there are 4 whole teeth. The squirrel fossil was discovered in Hungary during the limestone mining in Baranya County (B26). The jaw measures approx. 23 mm long, 17.5 mm high and 4.5 mm wide. Weight 1-2 grams + packing. The jaw comes in a plastic storage box measuring approximately 28mm x 28mm x 22mm.
