Quercus sp. plant fossil from Erdőbénye (1239 grams) SOLD (GM) 10
Miocene age: 10-13 million years old Quercus sp. (oak) leaf print. The Plant Fossil was found in Hungary in the Zemplén Mountains near the village of Erdőbénye during diatom mining. Very hard leavened mussel fractured stone shows the leaf imprint. The stone contains several imprints. The size of the stone is approximately 188 mm x 121 mm x 82 mm. The visible Quercus impression is approximately 47 mm long. The weight of the stone is about 1239 grams + packaging.
