Rhinoceros partial atlas vertebra (384 mm) SOLD (MTG) 11
Partial (atlas) first cervical vertebra of a Pleistocene rhinoceros. The rhinoceros fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the vertebra are approx.: length 141 mm, height 150 mm, width 384 mm. Weight approx.: 1738 grams + packaging. When the vertebra was found, it was broken into two pieces. The pieces were glued together with cyanoacrylate. The bone surface is preserved with cyanoacrylate and PVB (Mowital).
