Eocene age (approx: 45-50 million years old) Schizaster globulus Sea urchin fossil. The Schizaster is perfectly prepared complete one. The peel which became calcit are visible local natural cracks in some places and small solubilities.
Sea urchin has surfaced in the Bakony Hegység, in Hungary, near Kincsesbánya, during bauxite mining. Schizaster size ca: 47 mm x 43 mm x 35 mm. It weighs about 79 grams + packing.
