Sigillaria elegans fossil pair from Czech Republic SOLD (PA) 09
Partial imprint of a carbon-aged plant (ca. 320 - 323 million years old) called Sigillaria elegans. The plant fossil came to the surface in 2018 during coal mining near the town of Stonava in the Czech Republic. The imprint has both positive and negative sides. The dimensions of the stones containing fossil imprints are approximately: (A): 108 mm x 92 mm x 34 mm. Weight approx: 344 grams + packaging. (B): 75 mm x 53 mm x 8.5 mm. Weight approx: 37 grams + packaging.
