Subhyracodon partial maxilla
Oligocene (approx. 30 million years old) Subhyracodon partial rhinoceros maxilla with 7 complete teeth. Place of origin of the Subhyracodon fossil: Chadron Formation, White River Badlands, South Dakota, U.S.A.. When the fossil was found, it was broken into 3 pieces. The pieces were glued together, filling in the gaps with epoxy resin. The teeth do not contain any repairs and are in a natural state. The size of the fossil is approximately: 253 mm x 102 mm x 84 mm. Weight approx.: 1473 grams + packaging.
