Woolly rhinoceros partial cervical vertebra Coelodonta antiquitatis
Coelodonta antiquitatis (woolly rhinoceros) partial cervical vertebra bone. The rhinoceros fossil came to the surface during mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the vertebra are approx.: length 93 mm, height 187 mm, width 162 mm. Weight approx.: 642 grams + packaging. The surface of the vertebral bone is preserved with cyanoacrylate and Polyvinyl Butyral. The drying cracks visible on the bone are infused with cyanoacrylate.
