Pleistocene-aged Pagophilus groenlandicus seal partial femur bone. The seal fossil was found during trawl fishing in the North Sea off the coast of the Netherlands. The whitish patches on the bone are traces of the adhesion surfaces of Bryozoa colonies and Balanus. The dimensions of the femur bone are approximately: 96 mm x 55 mm x 30 mm. Weight approx: 70 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with Collal glue.
