Populus sp. leaf pair fossil from Hungary

Miocene age (approx. 14 - 18 million years) Popolus sp. letter print in pairs. The leaf print came close to the surface during coal mining in the Börzsöny Mountains in Hungary. Dimensions of the stone containing the leaf impression: A: 149 mm x 105 mm x 24 mm. weight: 235 grams. B: 174mm x 96mm x 35mm. weight: approx. 291 grams + packaging. The leaf fossil stone could have been near the surface for a long time, which is why the rock is in a cracked state. The surface of the fossil and the rock was preserved with cyanoacrylate. Side B of the print was broken into 3 pieces. It was glued together with cyanoacrylate.
