Elephas antiquus partial tooth (2605 grams)

Elephas antiquus (formerly known as Palaeoloxodon antiquus) partial tooth broken into two pieces. The elephant fossil came to the surface during kacic mining in Pest County, Hungary. 3 pieces were found in the mine. The first two pieces were glued together with cyanoacrylate. The third piece only fits on the root of the tooth on a small surface, so it was not glued to it. A piece of a few cm is missing from the front and center of the tooth. The dimensions of the tooth are: front: length 140 mm, height 117 mm, width 87 mm. Its weight is approx. 1322 grams + packaging. end piece: length 136 mm, height 114 mm, width 80 mm. Weight approx.: 1283 grams + packaging. The surface of the tooth is preserved with PVB (Mowital).
