Pleistocene-age Bison priscus (steppe bison) partial fifth lumbar vertebra. The bison fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the vertebra are approx .: length 105 mm, height 116 mm, width 156 mm. Weight approx: 387 grams + packaging. Drying cracks are visible on the vertebrae. The vertebral surface is preserved with cyanoacrylate and PVB (Mowital).
