A very old Mammuthus primigenius tooth (228 mm)
The tooth of Mammuthus primigenius (woolly mammoth) is a very old animal. The mammoth fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the tooth are approx.: length 228 mm, height 171 mm, width 66 mm. Weight approx.: 1246 grams + packaging. This tooth was collected more than 20 years ago. The tooth shows some old drying cracks. The cracks were filled with cyanoacrylate. The surface of the tooth is preserved with cyanoacrylate (PaleoBond).
