Partial antler of Alces cf. latifrons (ancient elk). The antler fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the antler are approximately: length 137 mm. The largest diameter of the antler rose is 64 mm. The weight of the antler is approximately: 378 grams + packaging. The surface of the antler is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
