Alces latifrons partial antler (206 mm)
Partial antler of Alces latifrons (ancient moose). The antler fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the antler are approximately: length 206 mm. The largest diameter of the antler rose is 72.6 mm. The weight of the antler is approximately: 586 grams + packaging. The surface of the antler is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
