Ampullina cf. perusta from Gánt
Eocene-aged (about 50-40 million years old) Ampullina perusta (formerly known as Natica volcanic) snail fossil. The snail came to the surface during mining in Bauxit, near the settlement of Gánt in Hungary. The size of the auger stone is approximately 69 mm x 58 mm x 53 mm. Weight approx: 201 grams + packaging.
