Asilidae fossil in Dominican amber
Miocene age (approx. 30 million years) inclusion of Asilidae (fly with feather tentacles) in amber. Amber comes from Dominica. The dimensions of the amber are approximately: 25.5 mm x 14 mm x 6 mm. Weight: approx. 1 gram + packaging. I give the amber in a plastic storage box of approx. 28 mm x 28 mm x 21.5 mm. The amber has an English and Italian language certification confirming its authenticity.
