Pleistocene age Bison priscus (steppe bison) metacarpal bone. The bone remains were found during mining in Pest County, Hungary. The size of the bone is approximately: length 273 mm, width 92 mm, thickness 53 mm. Weight approximately: 846 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
