Bison priscus (steppe bison) metatarsus bone. The bone remains were found during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The size of the bone is approximately: length 308 mm, width 84 mm, thickness 70 mm. Weight approximately: 970 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
