Bison priscus partial Neck vertebra
Bison priscus (steppe bison) partial cervical vertebra bone. The bison fossil was found during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the bison fossil are approximately: length 115 mm, height 200 mm, width 177 mm. Weight approximately: 860 grams + packaging. The surface of the fossil is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol. Drying cracks are visible on the vertebral bone. The cracks were filled with cyanoacrylate.
