Bison priscus partial jaw (224 mm)
Bison priscus (steppe bison) partial right lower jaw. One whole m6 tooth is visible in the jaw bone. The bison fossil was found during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The jaw dimensions are approximately: length 224 mm, height 165 mm, width 47 mm. Weight approximately: 611 grams + packaging. The surface of the jaw is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
