Bison sp. metacarpal bone. The remains of the bone came to the surface during mining in Pest County, Hungary. The size of the bone is approx.: length 265 mm, width 91 mm, thickness 52 mm. Weight approx.: 834 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
