Bison sp. partial horn bone (170 mm)
Bison sp. (wood bison) partial antler bone. The bison fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the bone are approximately: length 170 mm, width 59.8 mm, maximum thickness 43.3 mm. Weight approximately: 438 grams + packaging. Sand and gravel deposits are visible inside the antler bone. The surface of the bone is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
