Bison sp. partial horn bone. The bison fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the bone are approx.: length 246 mm, width 93 mm, maximum thickness 86 mm. Weight approx.: 1201 grams + packaging. Sand and gravel calcifications are visible on the horn pin bone. The surface of the bone is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
