Bison sp. partial jaw (164 mm)
Bison sp. partial right lateral jaw from old bison winged. The remains of 2 badly worn partial teeth can be seen in the jaw bone. The bison fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. Dimensions of the jaw: length 164 mm, height 87 mm, width 30 mm. Weight: approx. 410 grams + packaging. The surface of the jaw is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol. There are many cracks on the jaw bone.
