Bison sp. partial skull bone (1373 grams)
Bison sp. (wood bison) partial skull bone. The bison fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. There were Mammuthus meridionalis remains in its surroundings, so its age is probably between 2.4 and 0.6 million years. The dimensions of the skull fragment are approximately: length 162 mm, height 141 mm, width 214 mm. Weight approx.: 1373 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with Polyvinyl Butyral 30.
